I teach IB Chemistry only, mostly to students who are comfortable with the theory but lose marks once the questions become data-heavy. I’ve tutored HL and SL for six years, with a lot of time spent on energetics, equilibrium and IA write-ups. I’m quite methodical in lessons and usually work from past papers, then go back to the topic notes only where the gaps are obvious.

Hi, I’m an IB Chemistry tutor and I keep lessons fairly down-to-earth. I mainly help students who feel fine in class but get stuck when stoichiometry, acids and bases or organic mechanisms start turning up together. I also read IA drafts and give direct feedback on method, uncertainty and graphs. I only tutor IB Chemistry, so the sessions stay very focused on the syllabus and markschemes.

I’ve worked with IB Chemistry students for over ten years, including HL candidates aiming for medicine, engineering and pharmacy courses.
